Dog the Bounty Hunter’s daughter Lyssa Chapman claimed she’s been instructed not to share “active information” about the search for Brian Laundrie – as her dad returns to Colorado after injuring his ankle during the manhunt.

Chapman last week teased that “big news” would be released soon about the search for the 23-year-old fugitive, the sole person of interest in the death of his girlfriend, Gabby Petito.

“Hi guys, I was locked out of Twitter due to account security. Just got back in. A lot of people asking about my last tweet with big news,” she said in a tweet Sunday. “I’ve been asked to not share active information due to the large amount of media surrounding the case.”

She didn’t specify who told her to keep mum.

The reality TV daughter also posted a black background on which she wrote: “I know I disappear a lot, I don’t text back consistently, and I’m distant. The truth is, I’m a superhero.”

Chapman said in another tweet that “it’s common that we (include you all) put so much heat on a fugitive they dig down, he will pop up again,” adding that the “bait is set.”

Last week, she tweeted that she had “to stay tight-lipped for now … trust the process.”

Meanwhile, Chapman also said her 68-year-old father – whose real name is Duane Chapman – “is headed back to Colorado temporarily to handle some business.”

She pointed out that Dog “was in Florida on his honeymoon,” adding: “We are still actively searching for #BrianLaundrie, leaving a team in place in Florida. As always, whatever I can share with you, I will.”

Her father’s team told WFLA that he was heading back to Colorado to be checked by his doctor after he injured an ankle during the search for Laundrie.

“He’s also raising funds to continue what he calls an ‘expensive search,’” WFLA reporter Josh Benson tweeted.

“Team says he’s put together a talented network of local team members he calls the ‘Florida Team’ that will continue the search while he’s gone. He says he will continue to process leads in Colorado while he’s there,” he added.

Dog told The Sun that his team has received more than 3,000 calls – though he admitted that the majority were of fans saying, “Hello, We love the Dog!” But the rest are “pretty good,” he added.

“In order to get someone, it doesn’t matter how [or] what degree,” he told the news outlet.

Laundrie disappeared from his family’s North Port home last month after his parents claimed he went for a hike at the 25,000-acre Carlton Reserve, where authorities have been searching since Sept. 18.

His parents, Chris and Roberta Laundrie, initially told cops their son left the house on Sept. 14 — but they waited three days to report him missing despite the notoriety surrounding him.

Last week, family attorney Steven Bertolino then said in a statement that the Laundries had been mistaken and said Brian actually left the house on Sept. 13.

Brian had been sought for questioning in Petito’s disappearance during the couple’s cross-country trip — but had lawyered up and refused to cooperate.

He had returned home without his 22-year-old girlfriend on Sept. 1, nearly three weeks before her body was found at a Wyoming campground on Sept. 19.
