The Michigan State Police are investigating the death of a 30-year-old woman at the Faster Horses music festival in Lenawee County.

MSP said the special investigation section will be conducting the investigation.

The woman was found at about 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. The cause of death is still unknown, according to an MSP tweet.

MSP identified the woman as Melissa Harvey, 30, of Croswell, which is in the southern part of Michigan’s Thumb, near Lake Huron.

“Detectives want the public to know there is no danger or threats to people attending Faster Horses Music Festival,” a tweet from MSP said.

Faster Horses, the biggest summer music festival in the state, is a three-day event that takes place in Brooklyn, Michigan. Traditionally, about 40,000 people attend the festival.
