The trailer begins with Elle, Noah, Lee and Rachel (Meganne Young) arriving at Mrs. Flynn’s (Molly Ringwald) beach house, asking her if they could help take care of the place, to which she agrees.

The trailer cuts to a raucous party at the beach house, as Lee raises a glass to, ‘the last summer at the beach house.’

Lee clearly has a bit too much fun, with Elle waking him up with an airhorn at 1 in the afternoon.

Elle and Lee come across an old ‘beach bucket list’ that they made several years ago, filled with things they wanted to do before going to college.

Items in this list included hanging out in the massive donut in Randy’s Donuts in Inglewood, cliff diving, skydiving, shark cage diving and more.

However, all of these bucket list items have essentially served as a distraction for Elle, who has to choose between going to college with her boyfriend, or going to college with her best friend, like she’s planned on doing since their were little kids.
