Alex Rodriguez made quite the statement in the neighborhood he may end up sharing with ex-fiancée Jennifer Lopez over the holiday weekend.
The former Yankees great arrived at Fanatics honcho Michael Rubin’s July 4 bash in the Hamptons on Sunday via helicopter, according to Page Six. A-Rod reportedly took in the Bronx Bombers’ implosion against the Mets in the Subway Series before hopping on the chopper to make it for the star-studded party featuring an impressive array of celebrities ranging from Jay-Z (who made a much more modest arrival in a green Rolls-Royce that matched his multi-million dollar wristwatch) to New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft and his pal Jon Bon Jovi to embattled MLB commissioner Rob Manfred to Meek Mill and Karlie Kross.
“The party was epic, even for the Hamptons,” one of Page Six’s clandestine sources dished.
A-Rod’s jaunt came days after Page Six reported “feverish activity” at J-Lo’s Hamptons mansion — down the road from one A-Rod is renting — has sparked speculation that she and back-on flame Ben Affleck may soon bring Bennifer 2.0 to the posh summer enclave.
In other J-Lo news: She told Apple News on Monday she is “super happy,” although she made sure not to specifically mention Affleck.
“I love all the love that’s coming my way right now and all of the good wishes,” she added according to Page Six. “And I just want everybody to know that it’s the best time. It’s the best time of my life.”
