From the “Jungle Book” to the “Lion King,” some of the most popular cartoon animals have made their way to the big screen in live action movies. While it may seem fascinating to see what animals would look like if they could speak or existed in our daily lives, there are some instances where they look terrifying.
Paramount Studios dropped the trailer on Tuesday for the upcoming live-action movie of “Clifford the Big Red Dog,” based on the classic children’s book series. People may have wondered what actually having a big red dog would look like, and even though the movie does give an accurate representation of Clifford, he doesn’t seem as cute as he does in theory.

The release of the trailer sparked a new kind of fear of dogs for people.
Seeing a giant dog roaming the streets of New York also had people wondering the logistics of caring for a pup that massive.
Some people also pointed out photos from the set of the movie, and noted how funny Clifford looked before the CGI was added.
Even if Clifford is made to be the cute, loving dog he’s been known to be, he may have a dark past and will have to face another cinematic giant.
The film, which stars Darby Camp, Jack Whitehall, Tony Hale and Kenan Thompson, will hit the big screen on September 17.
