The television personality continued, ‘I acted boldly and seized an adventure. The rental where I was living was sold and I chose an alternative path to trying to find another rental.

‘Not only is the housing market in Flagstaff as crazy as where you are I’m sure, rentals are even harder to come by. Presenting my new summer adventure – the RV life but camped on our property.

‘Lots to do out here on the land so I figured why not be onsite. Honestly I’m alternating between extreme excitement as I’ve always wanted to try this and anxiety at all the unknown variables. So stay tuned, this is about to get real!’

Janelle’s camper home is parked on her family’s land on Coyote Pass in Flagstaff, Arizona. Brown stars alongside her husband Kody, 52, and his three other wives including Meri, 50, Christine, 49, and Robyn, 42, in the hit show that follows their lives as a polygamist family unit with their 18 children.

When the series premiered in 2010, the family resided in Lehi, Utah, but they moved to Las Vegas the following year.

In 2018, the Browns spent $820,000 on the piece of land on Coyote Pass, where Janelle is currently camping.

The initial plan was to build four homes on the land, with one for each wife but no construction is yet underway.

Janelle, who is the biological mother of six of Kody’s children, was renting a five-bedroom three-bathroom home in Flagstaff. It was listed for $699,000 and sold three weeks ago.

Meri, who was legally married to Kody from 1990 to 2014, rents a four-bedroom, four-bathroom rental home with an estimated value of $1.3 million. She divorced Kody so that he could legally marry Robyn and adopt her three children from her previous marriage.

However, Kody and Meri have said that they are still spiritually wed. Kody shares spiritual unions with Janelle and Christine as well, though they are also not now nor have they ever been legally married.

Kody removed his name from the deed of the three-bedroom three-bathroom Flagstaff home that he purchased with Christine for $520,000 in 2018 but she continues to live there as the sole owner.

Meanwhile, the patriarch and Robyn live in a lavish five-bedroom, five-bathroom residence that they bought in August 2019.

On the latest season of Sister Wives, Kody attributed the lack of movement on the four parcels of land that they own on Coyote’s Pass to the family’s financial struggles.
