Mark Wahlberg’s longtime friend Henry ‘Nacho’ Laun of TV’s Wahlburgers ‘died from a COCAINE overdose’ at 54 as death certificate is revealed

Mark Wahlberg’s longtime friend Henry ‘Nacho’ Laun died at age 54 from a cocaine overdose.

His death certificate listed the cause of death as ‘complications of acute cocaine intoxication.’ And the manner of Laun’s death was listed as ‘accidental.’ 

The death certificate, which was obtained by TMZ, also reveals the TV star was cremated on June 19. 

The extreme eater died on June 1 while in his car while at a gas station in Plymouth, Massachusetts during a solo road trip. He was best known for starring on Mark’s reality TV show Wahlburgers.

Also on the death certificate was his time of death: 2:33 pm on June 1. He was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth where he was placed on life support because he could not breathe on his own. After two weeks, he was taken off.

He is listed as never married and his occupation as TV Personality/Entertainment, according to the death certificate shared by the site.    

Laun was found unconscious in his car at a gas station during a road trip from Boston to Cape Cod, according to TMZ. A fellow customer had noticed he was passed out and they called 911.

When he was brought into the hospital, he was put on life support and was unresponsive, but later he became alert for a short period of time. 

But things got worse with his health and he died on June 1.

He is a longtime friend of Mark’s from his early days in Boston. Wahlberg is known for having a close circle of friends from his childhood and their friendship was the subject of the HBO series Entourage. 

Wahlburgers takes a behind-the-scenes look at the Wahlberg family as they works at the hamburger restaurant run by Paul, an executive chef.

Mark and his singer brother Donnie often come by to spend time with their family and their buddies from the ‘old neighborhood.’

Laun was one of them as well as Billy Leonard and Johnny Alves, the man who inspired the Johnny ‘Drama’ character in Entourage. 

TMZ added that his friends were organizing a GoFundMe page to pay for Nacho’s funeral. It is not yet known if the funeral has taken place.

It has been a difficult year for Mark and his brothers as they lost their mother Alma in April at age 78.

Mark has been busy filming the movie Father Stu in Los Angeles.

The former rapper has gained 20lbs and has added a fat suit to play boxer turned priest Reverend Stuart Long.

He intends to gain about 10 more which has been aided by aiming to eat 7,000 calories a day.

Mark first revealed his dramatic transformation via social media on May 3, sharing a before and after shot.
