Lady Gaga and Starbucks have teamed up to bring in some cash for the Born This Way Foundation with a line of four Gaga-approved drinks. It’s called “Cups of Kindness.”
The purpose? To help fund the Channel Kindness project, which is part of the foundation and aims to “empower young people to document stories of kindness in their worlds.”
Starbucks will donate a portion of the money to the foundation for the Channel Kindness Project through June 19 whenever one of the beverages is purchased.
The line consists of the Pink Drink and the Ombr Pink Drink as well as two new creations: Matcha Lemonade and the Violet Drink.
So … how much money are we talking here?
Starbucks has pledged 25 cents per drink, capped at a total donation of $250,000. And though it’s for a positive cause, some people are unimpressed.
Funny how Starbucks only donates 25cents a cup when they made $10.7 billion+ last year throughout 16,800+ shops in 40 different countries.

Only 25 cents?!? I would put it higher..

Yes, 25 cents does sound like a small amount for a company as large (and expensive) as Starbucks, but hey, at least they’re donating something, right?
